Happy Easter! Thanks to Iris of Ribiselchen for inviting me to be a part of an Easter sweets collaboration! She’s invited other bloggers and myself to share a sweet creation centered on the meaning of Easter. You can find the other treats on the Died. Buried. Risen. Facebook page here
Easter, when the risen Christ is celebrated, points towards a message of hope and love, salvation and truth, for me, and for all of mankind. Easter hasn’t always been meaningful to me, as I only became a believer in Jesus of Nazareth in my thirties, but when I finally realized that if it were true that Jesus is who he claimed to be, it would be the most important thing I could ever consider. If you’re interested, you can find a little more detail I shared in this blog post here.
Decorated Cookie Notes:
A few notes about these cookies:
You can find the video tutorials for all but the He is Risen cookie here.
You could use a projector to trace the writing on the He is Risen cookie but if you don’t have one, a stencil comes with the cookie cutter. (If you’d like to try the projector for this or other projects, my tutorial is HERE).
I used the stencil and an airbrush to stencil the pink lettering and then piped over the airbrushed letters. You could stencil with icing as well.
The He is Risen cookie cutter and stencil are from The Cookiery.ca.
And that’s it!
Wishing you a wonderful Easter!

Marian
