These classic shortbread cookies topped with scrumptious Lindt chocolate have an elegant appearance and a spectacular salty sweetness that’s perfect for the holidays. And they’re so simple to create!
If you’ve never had Lindt chocolate, it’s easily one of the best chocolates I’ve ever tasted, and there are so many options and flavours to choose from. You could easily change this shortbread and dark chocolate combination with another option.
The recipe can be found on Lindt’s holiday site, Lindt the Season, and print magazine available at Lindt stores, both filled with delicious recipes, practical holiday tips, decorating and gifting ideas incorporating Lindt chocolate. There are so many beautiful and festive ideas I’d like to use in my own kitchen and holiday decor, but instead of sharing those ideas with you here, you’ll have a chance to check them out on www.lindttheseason.ca too, along with a chance to win $100 Lindt Gift card!
I’m so thrilled to working with a company I respect like Lindt, whose product I love and have already enjoyed for years. This post is sponsored but all opinions are my own.
If you’d like to enter the giveaway, details are below. If I’m not able to post again before Christmas, wishing you a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year!

Marian

There are a few I want to try including the flourless chocolate cake, the shortbread like you have and the wreath would be an awesome hostess gift.

Definitely would love to make the flourless chocolate torte. Using only the finest quality chocolate in such a decadent dessert makes all the difference!

My favourite Lindt chocolate bar is the salted dark caramel. Add shortbread and that sounds fantastic!

So many great options, but I do love the simplicity of chocolate mousse. I think it showcases the chocolate in such a pure way, and pairs well with many liqueurs.

Hi Marian, after going to the Lindt site, I decided the Lindor Goody Bar, would be the recipe I would most like to make. The combo of nuts, coconut and chocolate sounds delicious. In addition the recipe looks like something I can manage. Your shortbread are also something I would adore!

Hi Marian, all the recipes are mouth watering but I think I would make the Lindt shortbread cookies with sea salt first.
