My original intention with these cupcakes had nothing to do with the Twilight saga…
… and everything to do with the pretty Vestlihouse cupcake liners and chess mold
I’m thinking they would work for a Twilight themed party though.
One of my students, the talented Christina, made all the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes & icing, as well as all the chocolate chess pieces. Christina, you did an amazing job!

This vinyl chess board, the perfect size for standard cupcake liners, is from MegaChess.com and the bookend rook and knight is from my local Chapters store.
All the cupcake liners are from Vestlihouse. I bought lots of these to make my own cupcakes with, and more to give away to you!

So hard to pick a favorite cupcake. Depending on the day it is either a chocolate chocolate cupcake or a caramel apple cupcake. Yummy!
I always love a chocolate cupcake with rich chocolate buttercream frosting
oooooh, there are so many cupcakes I love,, but to pick my favorite would be a milk chocolate cupcakes, filled with warm,gooey, soft caramel, with homemade vanilla buttercream on top, with lines of caramel drizzle for extra prettiness!!!! Oh my I need one now!!!!

I’m a chocoholic so my favorite has to be chocolate with whipped topping. Since I’m pregnant right now,one my favorite is the vanilla cupcake filled with whipped strawberry, topped with strawberry whipped cream.
My favorite cupcake is…..tada….lemon cupcake infused with lemon filling, and topped with a lemon flavored cream cheese frosting!!YUMMY!!!
My favourite would HAVE to be Pina Colada cupcakes, topped with toasted shreaded coconut and a colourful drinks umbrella, devine!

I have drooled over Vestlihouse liners for over a year now and would love to win some.
The cupcake I like best changes daily but I will never refuse a Red Velvet. With that said, I have recently baked up some new flavors which have been out of this world like Malteser and Apple-walnut with maple cinnamon cream cheese frosting.

My favorite is Irish Car Bomb cupcakes — like the drink — made with chocolate stout cake (Guiness), filled with Bailey’s Irish Cream ganache and topped with Bailey’s Irish Cream buttercream frosting. Soooo yummy! 🙂

My favorite cupcake is the Artie Lange Cupcake…Vanilla cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting filling, topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting dipped in chocolate fondant and edged with chocolate and vanilla sprinkles. A portion of the proceeds from the Artie Lange cupcake is donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. It is absoulutely decadent!

My favorite cupcake is a delicious moist chocolate cupcake with vanilla buttercream. Yum! I love the look of these cupcakes you did with the chess pieces. I have been meaning to look up molds for chess pieces, since my brother plays a lot of it and actually wants me to make him a chess board cake someday. These look great. What a cute idea.

It’s a little childish, but I love the rainbow cupcakes that have been popping up everywhere. I know it’s just white cake with food dye, but the colors make them taste so much better.
