Soft and creamy, these Almond Orange Dreamsicle cookies with white chocolate chips and orange zest are melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
An added bonus, especially if your area grocery stores are low on flour like mine are, is that they’re made with Alma’s Culinary Company Orange Sugar Cookie Mix, so no flour needed! You can find the mix at Walmart.
They’re so easy to make – add 1/2 cup of butter and an egg to the mix, and mix! I added my own little twist by adding 1 pack of white chocolate chips (12 oz or 340 grams), 1 teaspoon of fresh orange zest, and 1 tsp orange extract. The mix already has a hint of almond flavour to it, but you could enhance the flavour by adding 1 teaspoon of almond extract, or more, to taste, if you like.

I used an 1/3 ounce ice cream scoop to portion the cookie batter out.
And added a few white chocolate chips to the top for presentation.
Baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven for 10 minutes…
Voila! So yummy!
Happy baking and eating!
