Happy Thursday! 🙂
Today’s post is short and sweet…
Just want to wish you lots of love and happiness this holiday season…
and share the Christmas cookies I made for family and friends.
Had lots of fun making these too… Decorating them brought me to my happy place (does decorating do that for you?), and I was inspired by so many of my favorite cookie artists for the designs.
Thanks to Bridget of Bake at 350 and Martha for the candy cookie idea…
To Gail of One Tough Cookie for the Christmas tree idea…
and to Eleni’s New York for the reindeer idea!
They’re all packed and ready to go in these super cute boxes I found at Zehrs (Local grocery store).
Hope you’re enjoying the holiday preparations!
Wishing you peace and happiness,
xo,
Marian
Hi, do you perhaps have a cookie recipe that I could use. I am going to try and make biscuits for the family this christmas.
Absolutely, Caroline! If you look at the top of the site, click on Recipes, and cookie recipes is the first category. Wait a minute for the site to load, and you’ll see the words, “See More” after the first 3 recipes, and clicking on that will load all of them.
Hi,
What kind of frosting are you using for the cookie background? I use cake frosting but find it too sweet for the cookie and it doesn’t dry hard to the touch. HELP…..
Thanks,
Stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
I’m using royal icing… you can find a link to it in my recipe section. Happy decorating!
so appreciate the tips regarding thickness and decorating. Those are beautiful cookies and yes it gives me joy to make Christmas cookies…it’s the festive season…my family enjoys homemade goodies and I am making cookies for my grandson to decorate at school as he asked me to do them for him…thoroughly enjoying baking and thanks again for the very valuable tips!
My pleasure Nancy! Hope you had fun!
