Cute, clever and inspiring, there’s a new decorating book available, and it’s written by one of the kindest, most creative ladies I know, Meaghan Mountford. One of my first ever cookie decorating idols, Meaghan inspired me with her cookie creations in Cookie Sensations
, to want to make my own cookies, and now she’s back again with 50, absolutely sweet and cute, tasty treats, in the adorable book, Sugarlicious.
Here’s a sneak peek of just a few of the projects, from these squeal-worthy swamp frog cupcakes (Oh my goodness, look at his adorable frown!)…
to these little lamb cake balls. (Squeeee!)
Sugarlicious is packed with ideas of all kinds, from cookies to cake pops, to decorated marshmallows, cupcakes, cakes, petits fours and candy clay!

I’m totally hooked on decorating cupcakes, but I’m trying REALLY hard to improve my piping skills and work with royal icing so I can start decorating more cookies.

I love to decorate sugar cookies. I always have a batch of un-iced cookies in the freezer to decorate when the urge hits. Which is quite often. I can always use new inspiration and this book looks like it would be full of great ideas.
Right now, I’m into decorating mini cakes (which actually takes just as much/more time and effort as a full size cake…) and I love working on cupcakes!

I am no good at decorating. At Christmas when I do my most baking, it’ll be the cookies that get decorated. I have Essential Tremors so I cannot do delicate or detailed work – it’s usually a stencil held over cupcakes or cakes and powdered sugar shook over!
