Cute, clever and inspiring, there’s a new decorating book available, and it’s written by one of the kindest, most creative ladies I know, Meaghan Mountford. One of my first ever cookie decorating idols, Meaghan inspired me with her cookie creations in Cookie Sensations, to want to make my own cookies, and now she’s back again with 50, absolutely sweet and cute, tasty treats, in the adorable book, Sugarlicious.

Here’s a sneak peek of just a few of the projects, from these squeal-worthy swamp frog cupcakes (Oh my goodness, look at his adorable frown!)…

to these little lamb cake balls. (Squeeee!)

Sugarlicious is packed with ideas of all kinds, from cookies to cake pops, to decorated marshmallows, cupcakes, cakes, petits fours and candy clay!

  3. Oh my this looks fabulous – I am not even going to spoil things by reading the terms and conditions telling me it’s for USA residents only…. c’mom, postage to Australia is really quite reasonable.

    For some reason I’m really loving animals at present; dogs in love for Valentines’, French sausage dogs for Bastille day, now I just need to think of something for St Patrick’s Day.

  6. I am not a pro, just a budding enthusiast…I love all of your ideas- I do have a birthday girl who loves all things Monster High….She’s only turning 9 …any way to make a cake that reflects her interest without looking gruesome???

  9. Oooo this book looks so fun. Right now I’m planning on making a pancake cake and some red velvet cupcakes and cake pops, although making cake pops is becoming somewhat of a challenge for me as I can never seem to get them quite right. It will be fun to see how Meaghan makes hers. Thanks for the opportunity.

  18. Really enjoyed this preview…:0) I would like to thank my (12) daughter who inspired me with her cake abilities and challenged me to bring out my creative baking side. I love making cakes and cupcakes and set a goal to learn everything i can with sugar for 2012. All the best to you and keep up the great work!

  29. I love to bake anykind of baked good. I am just getting into the decorating part, in fact today I am making your recipe of sugar cookies with my grandaughter and I am going to try the royal icing recipe you had posted and decorate the sugar cookies. Wish me luck.
