Wow, both of my sisters (Anna Durbin & Mary Durbin) entered this contest. Anna just called me to “demand” me to enter. Okie dokie, glad she did. Very excited! Pink is the colour of choice. One for me and one to give to my friend J. Washington who taught me that women can aspire to be chefs and bakers too. We used these a lot in class and made the most awesome cookies and cakes and then class was over and I was back home to mixing with the hand mixer. But, even with my handmixer I was able to put together a wonderful gingerbread house (after following the guidelines on the Sweetopia site) and so I would be able to continue with the gingerbread house fun and add to that more of the cookie-making fun for friends and showers and such. (Since posting a picture of my house, I’ve gotten a couple of requests for showers which, I think is really, really neat.)
I would give the 2nd mixer to my friend Audrey who has been asking her husband for a mixer for years now & she STILL doesn’t have one!!!!
