I’ve been seeing candy inspiration everywhere lately, however my favorite source so far has been Amy Atlas’ site on event planning. Here is just a glimpse of one of her signatures; the candy buffet.
Her images moved me to visit my local candy store, where I found some gumballs and fun swirly lollipops.
These in turn inspired me try my hand at some lollipop sugar cookies…
And of course, there’s the disco dust
again. 🙂
I didn’t get to these cookies below yet, but wanted to mention that I’ve got them next on my lollipop wish list:

Cakes are still very new to me, but I’m thinking this one (above) from Planet Cake
will be one of the first on my ‘to try’ list.

OH FUN! I had a candy themed party for my daughter in July and it was SO.MUCH.FUN! I am now obsessed with all things candy and have big dreams of redoing her room in a “Sweet Shoppe” theme with a vintage twist!! 🙂 I can see it perfectly in my little mind!
