I don’t know if my favorite cookie is actually a cookie. I don’t even know what the right word in English would be for them but in essence its baked meringue.
I usually do it with three egg whites and 1/2 cup of sugar per egg white (1 1/2 cup of sugar total). You do a regular meringue as you would do to decorate a cake but instead, with the help of a piping bag and the tip size of your choice, on a cooking sheet, you pour the meringue giving it the shape you like. Then you put it on an oven at the lowest temperature and bake for about an hour. After the hour has passed, you turned the oven off and leave the meringue to cool completely inside the oven. I leave them overnight just to make sure that the meringue has properly dry.
What I like about it is that its fairly simple, you can give it the color you want and you can make any size without any fuzz.
